With your eye for detail and strong interest in academic research and human rights themes, you will support our client at the Faculty of Law with research into the aftermath of intercountry adoption, assist in organizing an international academic conference, and maintain a scholarly networking website. Additionally, you will conduct and process various interviews regarding this subject.
Working hours can be flexibly scheduled in consultation with the client, depending on your availability, between 8 and 16 hours per week. It is possible to work remotely and at times that suit you. Ideally, you can start in July, and the appointment runs until the end of this year, with the possibility of extension.
The hourly wage for this position is between €18.56 and €19.07. Additionally, you will receive a holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.

What are you going to do?
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting literature research and managing references. Additionally, you will assist with the organization of a conference, including maintaining contact with speakers, managing registrations, and preparing materials.
Another important part of the position involves updating and maintaining a networking website using WordPress, as well as managing the LinkedIn page. Furthermore, you will conduct interviews regarding this topic and process and analyze the results. Your role further entails preparing and drafting documents and presentations, and providing general support for various other project-related tasks as needed.
Who are we looking for?
You have a strong interest in academic research and human rights issues. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is essential.
Additionally, you must be proficient in the use of online tools such as WordPress and social media platforms such as LinkedIn. You are also expected to be able to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
