Dear Mr Dohle,

On 20 August 2015, you submitted a complaint to the European Ombudsman against the European Commission concerning its handling of your contribution report to the appraisal of a seconded expert and of your related correspondence with it. Please be informed that I have been assigned responsibility for your case. I understand that you wish to make the following allegations and claims.

Allegations:

1. The Commission did not reply to your e-mail of 30 April 2015 and to your request for a meeting.

2. The Commission failed to address the concerns raised in your report.

Claims:

1. The Commission should reply to your e-mail and to your request for a meeting.

2. The Commission should deal with the issues raised by you in a transparent and accountable manner.

Following the Ombudsman's instructions, I contacted the Commission's services in order to explore the possibility of finding a rapid solution to your first allegation and related claim.

As regards your second allegation and related claim, please note that the Ombudsman will examine them once she receives the Commission's reply to the first allegation and claim.
