Subject: Your informal complaint to the European Ombudsman, ref. 2015/1349

Dear Mr Dohle,

By informal complaint dated 11 September 2015, the European Ombudsman asked the Commission to come back to you on the following point:

ยท The Commission should reply to the complainant's email of 30 April 2015 and to his request for a meeting.

After consulting the Cabinet of First Vice President Timmermans, we have to inform you that Mr Timmermans is not able to be available for a meeting with you since he is not competent for the issue in question. This is why his Cabinet informed you by email on 19 February 2015 that your email had been referred to the cabinet of Vice President Georgieva for follow-up and provided details of a contact point there. The Cabinet of First Vice President Timmermans had thought that their email had implicitly also replied to the request for a meeting but apologises in case this had not been made sufficiently clear.

The Commission took knowledge of Mrs Post's claims and clearly indicated to her the procedural ways to address them.

In this respect, please see enclosed the letters sent to Mrs Post on 26 June 2015 and to MEP Ms Gomes on 17 September 2015.

Best regards,

On behalf of Ms Sophie ALEXANDROVA, Cabinet VP Georgieva,

G. Luminita NICOLAIE
