Dear Commissioner Neven Mimica,

with great interest i see the event “"No Child Left Behind: Families not institutions – EU external action championing children’s rights", co-organised by the European Commission and the NGO Lumos” listed in your calendar.

We tried to find more information online, but could not yet find the agenda or anything else.

What I found on google is the live streaming listed . ( See attached)

However obviously it has been removed. I assume that the high level event was made secret.

Children´s rights are a very sensitive and important area affecting all EU families. Such meetings have to be made public accessible and at the very least streamed.

Transparency is necessary.

We didn´t get an invitation. We were not even in any manner notified.

Kindly ensure the conference will be streamed live and the agenda as well as the speakers are made public.

Please reply to me tomorrow, so that in case of your denial we can still turn to the EU Ombudsman and the Parliament.
