sadly our organisation and peer group for indian adult adoptees did not find any mentioning in the guide you prepared.
Also not any of the other adoptee led Organisations who assist adoptees rather successful.
Kindly do change this and include us.

somehow you forgot to mention CRIB in the Search Guide draft.
Meanwhile we have solved 40 plus cases.

I d also appreciate if you put a note of caution for the use of DNA Databases for search purposes.
Possibly for example a first cousin match could be found via the big Databases, but the family secret of the mother may thereby revealed to the wrong person, thus causing possibly tremendous social issues.
The old style papertrail search enables a qualified social worker to respect the privacy of the mothers.

We have fought very hard since 2001in India to get the laws slowly and step by step changed for the better.
However access to the records remains extremely difficult.
An advisory to CARA could be very helpful.
In this regard it would be also good, if ISS could remind the indian authorities, that none of the past scandals have been cleared up.
