Bal Mandir is the largest orphanage in Kathmandu - Nepal. At present it houses 140 children. These children lack basic food and medical care.

WE

In 1983 my wife and I have adopted twin girls from Bal Mandir. In 1999 we (a group of Dutch parents who all have adopted from Bal Mandir) started a foundation to help orphaned children from Nepal - see our website www.nepalvonk.nl

HELP NOW

Bal Mandir is in a severe financial crisis. They are not able to provide the children with basic food. There are no cotton diapers, no milk, no medicare.

We are seting up an emergency aid program to provide food. The basic food will be delivered by our local organisation on a daily basis. We also will provide diapers, milk, fruit, eggs, medical supplies, etc.

We also need provisions for hospital bills for the children.

Finally we aim to repair and maintain the water purification plant.

FOR THE FUTURE

Our help is needed to bridge a certain time. Time which is needed to solve the financial crisis and secure more donors by Bal Mandir.
