free educational and informative International Adoption Seminar on Thursday,

January 23, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. OR 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The

Seminar will be held at Gladney's New York office at 360 Central Park West,

how International adoption works, the types of children available for

adoption, as well as the average waiting period for an adoption to be

completed. Gladney is currently assisting adoptive families with adoptions

through China, Russia, Ecuador, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Mexico, and Romania.

Since 1994, when Gladney's first International Adoption took place from

China, Gladney has helped to facilitate more than 1,000 placements of children

into forever loving homes. "There are many prospective adoptive parents, both

single and married couples, who are just beginning to investigate adoption as

a means to complete their family," says Judy Hayes, International Outreach

Manager. "The International Adoption Seminar gives them an opportunity to

find out about the children in the different countries who are available for

adoption and the requirements the adoptive parents would have to meet to adopt

these children."

Free International Adoption Seminars are held every other month throughout

the year in Fort Worth. Anyone interested in attending a Seminar can log onto

www.gladney.org to RSVP or call Judy Hayes at (817) 922-6063. General

questions regarding adoption can be answered by calling 1-800-687-3097.
