A court in Guatemala has found a US woman innocent of human trafficking and irregular adoptions.

Nancy Bailey, 64, was accused of falsifying identity documents and DNA samples of three Guatemalan children who were adopted by people in the United States.

Bailey, who adopted two Guatemalan girls herself, ran a popular children’s home at the time of the adoptions.

Al Jazeera's David Mercer reports from the capital, Guatemala City.
