F.I.N.D.

FIND vzw (full name: International Organization for Finding Disappeared and Kidnapped Children from Maternity Hospitals) is a Belgian non-profit association. Its enterprise number is 1041.817.117 and its registered office is at Willem de Zwijgerstraat 51, Brussels, which is Roelie Post’s address. The group was founded in Novi Banovci, Serbia, in May 2026. The deed was signed on 26 August 2026, filed on 28 August, and published in the Belgian Official Gazette on 4 September.

People. The three founders are also the three directors, each on a renewable three-year term:

  • Roelie Post (Brussels)
  • Ana Pejić (Ruma, Serbia)
  • Nataly Suzana Anderson Marinovic (Woking, UK)

Purpose. FIND says it pursues the rights to truth, identity, family life, investigation and remedies for people affected by:

  • the disappearance, abduction or unlawful removal of children
  • trafficking, falsified identity or irregular transfer of children

This covers maternity clinics, neonatal institutions, adoption systems and civil registration. The statutes cite no treaty instrument. Family preservation appears only once, in the advocacy list of Art. 4.1(g).

Activities. The statutes list:

  • searches and documentation, and independent investigations
  • secure registers and DNA or genealogical matching
  • support for complaints and court cases
  • advocacy at the EU, the Council of Europe and the UN
  • research, training and peer support

FIND states that it has no law-enforcement powers and is independent of governments, political parties and commercial interests.

Membership and governance. There are two tiers:

  • Effective Members vote and form the General Assembly. Membership is by invitation only and needs a two-thirds vote.
  • Adherent Members can take part but have no vote.

Neither tier gets access to case or genetic data. Contributions are capped at €500 for individuals and €2,500 for organisations. Two directors acting jointly can represent the association.

Public profile. FIND has no social media presence or website of its own yet; it is visible only through its board members’ personal accounts. Ana Pejić announced the registration on Facebook in September 2026, showing per-country stamps (Serbia’s is No. 3) and saying the organisation covers the whole world.
