Dear Catherine, Simon,

Recently there is an increased push from the US side to impose their views and policies onto the EU. Just heard there is a Round Table at the EP this afternoon about the US Children in Adversity Initiative.

It is going very fast, so I found it necessary to summarise what is going on in a Note for the File.

Just as background, partners of the US Children in Adversity Initiative are Lumos and EIM = hedgefund banker Arpad Busson. That's why I linked it to this old mail.
