USAID just announced Family Care First for Cambodian children in adversity

Dear Friends,

If you are ever wondering just we have been doing here at Joint Council then please take a look at what USAID has just announced! We are proud to be a champion of the USG Action Plan for Children in Adversity and working with our colleagues as it unfolds in Cambodia - with a focus on children outside of family care.

The announcement of USAID’s Family Care First for Cambodia recognizes that thousands of children in Cambodia are denied the basic right and protection of family care and seeks innovative high-impact solutions to reduce the number of children living outside of family care in Cambodia.

Learn more about how you can engage and submit your ideas and proposals at the Family Care First website.

Please accept my thanks to you all Joint Council Partners with special thanks to those of you who are part of the Children in Adversity Policy Partnership, of which Joint Council is a founding member and current co-chair. Your Partnership with and support of Joint Council is bringing family care for all children to the forefront of children’s services around the world.

Best Wishes and Happy Thanksgiving!

Tom DiFilipo
