Dear Arun,

Yes, Maud commissioned me to prepare a research paper that could - along with other sources - inform her thematic report to the HRC. Maud did not "alter" my paper - it was never intended to be anything other than background research and was therefore far longer than the word limit for her report. She took those elements from the paper that she felt it appropriate to reflect in her submission to the Council.

Sorry, but my paper is not for wider distribution at this point.

I have no knowledge of any financial contribution to this from DCI-NL. No comment from me, of course, regarding Maud's situation.

I think we have been in agreement all along on almost all substantive issues. Where we seem to diverge is on the best approaches and strategies for promoting the cooperation needed to secure change.
