Dear Symeon Piperidis,
I am the Director of Against Child Trafficking an NGO founded on instigation of the former Secretary General of the European Commission Catherine Day. The subsequent secondment of Mrs. Roelie Post was arranged by Mr. Simon Mordue who also encouraged Mrs. Post to keep fighting ( See email from 20 October 2009) .
The European Commission has itself aligned with US American Child Welfare ideas and fails to guard the treaty and the UNCRC which is inseparable from the attainment of the objectives of the treaty. The Chief Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of the European Council is well aware of the history as he was once in the EU Delegation in Romania.
It fills me with shame to see now how the situation of Mrs. Post is totally deteriorating. So far, she has to beg online for money.

We are currently working on a blog post regarding the situation of our founder Mrs. Post and how it could have come so far. We would like to know the Position of the President of the European Council regarding child rights and regarding the situation of Mrs. Post.
