The Social Affairs Committee of the Folketing has called the Minister of Social Affairs and Housing, Pernille Rosenkrantz-Theil (S), in consultation on Thursday 22 February 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Proviantsalen, Proviantgården at Christiansborg.
The committee has asked the minister to explain whether the minister will take the initiative for an impartial and legally binding investigation of the entire adoption area in Denmark - just as has happened in Sweden and Norway, and why, in the negative, the minister will not initiate an impartial and legally binding investigation investigation of the entire adoption area in Denmark, when the minister, like the rest of us, is aware that parents have been deprived of their children under false conditions, and that children have been deprived of their right to their biological parents and true life history.
The committee has also asked the minister to explain whether the minister is willing to ensure that responsibility is placed for the mistakes and wrongdoings that have taken place - and to uncover the full range of potential cases.
