PRESENTATION :We draw your attention to the fact that we are not an association approved by the M.A.I for international adoption. Nevertheless, to cope with a strong demand from families and the lack of specialized associations for this purpose in Languedoc-roussillon, we put our field experience and moral support at the disposal of all families involved in a procedure of adoption in Romania. HISTORY:“INIMA PENTRU INIMA” was created by Ms. Lidia DOBRE in July 1997 in Rimnicu-Valcea in Romania. Its objective is to help children in difficulty. These children are mostly in placement centers and live in miserable conditions. Others, who still live with their families, risk placement in these institutions (or worse: abandonment). The cause is simple: the catastrophic economic situation of the country and the growing difficulties of the population in meeting their basic needs.

“INIMA PENTRU INIMA” recognized by the Mission for International Adoption (M.A.I.) and the Romanian Committee for Adoption (C.R.A.), allows the adoption of children by Romanian and foreign families. Likewise, it keeps many of them in their families of origin by helping them through prevention and moral and financial support.There were around a hundred Romanian foundations present on the M.A.I lists. in 1999. After the elimination of the most nebulous of them, there remained very few in 2001 approved by the M.A.I. and the C.R.A. . “INIMA PENTRU INIMA” always present, is recognized as one of the best. It offers assistance programs, family maintenance, supervision and professional monitoring of children in difficulty, etc. But it also guarantees full transparency of full adoptions with excellent care for adopters. . But given the activities of her foundation and an ever-increasing number of adoption requests, Ms. DOBRE can no longer deal with applicants individually.

“HEART FOR HEART” (translation of “inima pentru inima”) originated from the meeting of the founders of the association with Ms. DOBRE. This meeting took place during a successful adoption. Several others followed and the feeling of maintaining ties with Romania and “inima pentru inima” grew stronger. In France, despite the existence of several organizations focused on adoption and complex regulations, nothing facilitates international adoption (and what is more, in Romania). This is why many people come together in associations. Italy is already very invested in this area and several associations offer real partnerships with approved Romanian foundations. They subsidize the work done on site, help by sending essential equipment and goods, supervise volunteers, provide information and support to applicants for adoption in Romania....The creation of "HEART FOR HEART" was done precisely in the same spirit. She wants to be the privileged link for applicants for the adoption of a Romanian child and "INIMA PENTRU INIMA".
