Fiom is the expertise center in the field of unwanted pregnancy, distance & adoption and kinship questions. Working at Fiom is based on the right to self-determination of unwanted pregnant women and the right of a child to know where he or she comes from and to grow up while retaining his or her own identity. Fiom offers information and help with unwanted pregnancy, aftercare in the field of adoption and guides people in their search for biological family at home and abroad. In addition, we manage the KID-DNA Database, which enables a match between a donor child and an anonymous donor. We do all this with about 80 motivated employees from our offices in 's-Hertogenbosch and Houten.

What does the job involve?

In the role of project leader, you focus on developing and transferring knowledge about unwanted pregnancy to the general public/politicians as well as to (healthcare) professionals. You coordinate various projects in the field of interventions, training and policy development and you ensure that ideas and plans are translated into concrete results. In addition to monitoring the broad outlines of projects, you also contribute ideas as a substantive expert about issues about unwanted pregnancy, decision aid, abortion and distance for adoption. You ensure good cooperation with colleagues and external partners. You are part of the unwanted pregnancy team and you contribute to the strategy and development of this program.

What does your working day at Fiom look like?

The day starts with a cup of coffee with colleagues at the office or online via Teams.

You then consult with your project team about the state of affairs and progress of a project aimed at sharing knowledge with general practitioners and practice assistants.

You then have contact with your colleague via Teams about translating new knowledge from research about unwanted pregnancy into a campaign to increase awareness.

In the afternoon you will work on a theoretical basis for a new intervention in the field of decision aid by primary care professionals.

You end the working day by preparing the meeting that you will have tomorrow with various external partners.

Who are you?

You have WO work and thinking level with at least 7 years of work experience.

You are an experienced project coordinator and you have experience with agile working.

You are analytically strong and you can organize well.

You have experience in developing interventions and policy advice and you can translate knowledge from research into practice. You think from the point of view of the target group.

You can quickly switch between coordinating and substantive tasks.

You make contact easily and are decisive and decisive.

You have experience (or affinity) with maintaining contacts with ministries and political parties.

You have an affinity with the themes of unwanted pregnancy and parentage questions and you endorse Fiom's pro-choice position.

Salary and employment conditions in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Social Work, scale 10 (= € 3,221 to € 4,830 gross per month with full employment 36 hours per week).
