SENIOR COMMUNICATION ADVISER

Fiom is the expertise center in the field of unwanted pregnancy, distance & adoption and kinship questions. We offer information and help with unwanted pregnancy, aftercare in the field of adoption and guide people in their search for biological family at home and abroad. In addition, we manage the KID-DNA Database, which enables a match between a donor child and an anonymous donor. The starting point in the work at Fiom is the right of self-determination of unwanted pregnant women, the right of a child to know where he or she comes from and to grow up while retaining its own identity. We do all this with about 80 motivated employees from our offices in 's-Hertogenbosch and Houten and from our home workplaces.

Who are you?

You have completed a HBO/WO education in Communication, Marketing or Journalism and you have at least 5 years of experience in the field. You are a generalist and strong in project work. You like the combination of being strategic and practical. You are also a good listener and know what is going on in the outside world and in the various Fiom programmes. As a result, you continuously see opportunities to increase the visibility of Fiom.

You believe in the power of storytelling and you know how to set the right tone. You take others with you from a positive critical attitude. Taking initiative and showing responsibility are natural for you.

You stand firm and have a healthy dose of persuasiveness. You also do not turn your hand around drawing up and executing communication plans, of course in good cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders. You like to think along about campaigns, for example about unwanted pregnancies and you know how to respond adequately to critical questions. You also like to be hands-on with creating content for our website, (email) marketing, SEO/SEA, recruiting participants for research and internal communication.

In short, the function is very broad and no day is the same, so you often have to be able to switch quickly. In addition, it is important that you have an affinity with our themes and that you support Fiom's mission and vision, as can be read on our website. Are we asking a lot of you? Surely! • in the first instance it concerns a temporary employment contract for the duration of one year, with the option of extension;

• salary is in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Social Work, scale 9. This means a salary between €2,956 and €4,358 gross per month;

• an end-of-year bonus of 8.3% and a holiday allowance of 8%, both part of a flexible individual budget;

• there is room for personal growth and development through a personal career budget.
