Wereldkinderen exists 50 years and we like to celebrate this with you. Come to amusement park Slagharen on Saturday 21 May 2022 !

A day on which special encounters with adoptees, parents, volunteers, employees and foreign contacts are central.

You are most welcome from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.!

Tickets can be purchased with a special Wereldkinderen discount code for € 16.50 pp * (including snack menu worth € 6.50 and free parking). With the promotional code you can buy your tickets at a discount on the Slagharen website. This goes like this:

Parking and collecting tickets

You can park in the parking lot at Zwartedijk 37, 7776 PB Slagharen . There is a World Children 's Location in this parking lot where you can pick up your admission tickets, parking coin and wristband.

Meeting Contacts

This festive day cannot be celebrated on a grand scale without the arrival of our contacts from different countries. We will keep you informed about which contacts you can expect via the website, the newsletter and the Wereldkinderen Magazine. Listed below are the people we definitively expect. Unfortunately, a few contacts cannot be present because they have not obtained their visa in time or are dealing with corona measures. This applies to Regina Milallos (Philippines) and Angela Hu (China).

Numerous activities take place on the Adoption Inspiration Podium, including:

- Yeny the adoption coach (also known from La Vida the podcast).

- Documentary 'Manon and Maria Paula' by Fien van Snippenberg and Megan Verhaaf

- Lecture about the book 'Sterk als een Leeuw' by David Samwel and his partner Thomas Olde Heuvelt.

In the meeting room there are various stalls where you can buy nice items from different countries. Here you can only pay with cash. There are several ATMs in the park.

World Lottery

This year there will again be a World Lottery with many great prizes, including:

- two airline tickets worth max. € 2000 for a roots trip, made possible by Ten Holter Noordam lawyers

- hotel stays

- sauna packages

- dinner vouchers

- theater tickets

- toys

- various entrance tickets for museums and amusement parks.

Tickets/envelopes are for sale at one of the stands in the indoor location. Buy and pull an envelope, you will immediately know whether you have won a prize.
